Columbia Inn (Italian - Montville, New Jersey)

The Columbia Inn in Montville is a popular Italian restaurant in North Jersey known for its delicious food and refreshing cocktails. I have been to this place on a handful of occasions; however, I came with my parents here for dinner not so long ago and decided to write a review this time.

To start my meal, I had the 'Columbia Inn Spritz,' which in fancy words, is an Aperol spritz. It was super sweet, strong, and a tad bitter. Nonetheless, it was still refreshing and satisfyingly good.

For dinner, I got the 'Rigatoni Amatriciana,' and it came with Italian bacon, onions, and fresh tomato sauce. This dish was pretty simple, yet very flavorful between the sauce, bacon, and onions especially. I liked that this dish was not complicated but had a lot going on if that makes sense.

On top of that, I also ate their 'Faba Salad,' which had mesculin, avocado, artichokes, diced tomato, onions, gorgonzola, pine nuts, and three vinaigrette dressing consisting of beet, balsamic, and creamy parmigiano. The salad was really delicious, and the dressing was amazing! I have not heard of a three-mixture dressing, but it was really good. I would definitely order this salad again!

Now, the Columbia Inn is notorious for its pizza. I did not have pizza the last time I was here, but I have before, and it is really good. Their thin-crust pizza especially gets ravenous reviews from the public, especially Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports, who gave it an 8.7. Plus, their pizzas are also sold on Goldbelly and can be bought frozen.
