If you live in New Jersey, then you know the Tick Tock Diner in Clifton is a state phenomenon. Ironically, I had never been to Tick Tock before, so I decided over the weekend to try it out for the first time.
I came with my dad, and when we went, we ordered the ‘Chicken Quesadillas’ as an appetizer. They were delicious, as they were cooked perfectly with lots of chicken and cheese. Plus, they came with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole to dip on the sides. I do not like salsa, but you cannot go wrong with sour cream and guacamole, as they do not disappoint!
For my meal, I got the ‘Caprese Burger,’ which had fresh mozzarella, tomato, red onion, and balsamic vinaigrette. This tasted exactly like a true Caprese sandwich but with a burger. Everything tasted fresh and good! The burger was also juicy, tender, and cooked just to my liking. The burger also came with ‘Sweet Potato Fries,’ which were pretty sweet, golden, and crispy, as well as some coleslaw and a pickle. I do not like pickles, but I love coleslaw, and it is an excellent component that goes well with almost any diner meal.
At the Tick Tock Diner, you can order all the classics that you know and love at a diner. Pickup and delivery are both offered through delivery service apps. Gift cards are also available for purchase. If you need any diner recommendations, the Tick Tock Diner in Clifton should be the next spot on your go-to list!
